In early 2006, several repair technicians were about to retire from Invensys Building Systems, causing the loss of a wealth of repair knowledge for two of the company’s legacy energy management systems, the Robert Shaw and the Barber Coleman lines. This repair expertise could not be replaced by hiring new technicians.
In early 2006, several repair technicians were about to retire from Invensys Building Systems, causing the loss of a wealth of repair knowledge for two of the company’s legacy energy management systems, the Robert Shaw and the Barber Coleman lines. This repair expertise could not be replaced by hiring new technicians.
Since ISA already employed technicians with extensive knowledge of the Robert Shaw and Barber Colman lines, Invensys approached ISA about handling parts repairs for those systems. In June of the same year, Invensys signed a contract making ISA the nationwide authorized parts repair center for all Invensys legacy energy management systems.
Today, ISA maintains a dedicated laboratory for repairs of these Invensys systems, and serves over 125 independent Invensys distributors and field offices.
